Giant Step Forward in Bringing God's Healing

Beauty Instead of Ashes Mankato Team

Thank you for your support of Door of Hope! It’s awesome and humbling to see how God
continues to work through the ministry to touch lives and restore families.

Last month was significant, as Door of Hope made the first big step into ministry in the
Mankato area.

On a Friday morning, six women piled into cars with stacks of supplies, equipment, and refreshments, to host a Beauty Instead of Ashes women’s conference in St Peter, on the dynamics of abuse.

Dear friends of Door of Hope, Margy and Ted Johnson, were our wonderful hosts.

The conference was a sweet time of worshiping, teaching, and connecting on a deeper level. As the conference went on, we learned there were many women in the area suffering from abuse and looking for help. It became clear that we were putting a stake in the ground, both physically and spiritually. We publically stated “NO” to the stronghold of abuse over the area, and could feel God’s healing touch already at work.

While God revealed the great need in the area, He also brought forward area leaders that He is equipping to touch the women in need. We serve an awesome God!

We left St Peter knowing that we had made a giant step forward in bringing God’s healing in the Mankato area. We look forward, with excitement, to what God will do next through Door of Hope to touch these women.

Blessings, Beth McMillan
