Door of Hope Ministries 2018 Spring Banquet
Saturday, April 21, 2018 6:00-8:00pm
North Heights Lutheran Church, 1700 Hwy 96 W, Arden Hills, MN 55112
Please join hundreds of our friends and supporters who have seen - or want to see - God's healing for those affected by trauma and abuse.
Immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
--Jesus in Mark 6:50b
A Night of Celebration
The evening will include a delicious three-course dinner by a 2018 Diner's Choice winner Atlas Grill, statistics and stories, and an overview and celebration of where we've been, and where God is leading. We have set a goal to raise $75,000.
We are delighted to announce that our special guests will include:
mistress of ceremonies: silvia ontaneda
Silvia Ontaneda is the Founder of the Center for Women in Leadership and Diplomacy, an organization focused on empowering women in leadership through the practice of citizen diplomacy, its values and principles.
Her role as a career diplomat at the Ecuadorian Foreign Service has been widely recognized due to the innovative educational, legal and health services she implemented for the Ecuadorian and immigrant communities in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and the Dakotas, and for her leadership in implementing projects/bilateral agreements focused on bridging the gap between the Midwest and countries in South America, to promote multilateral cultural, academic, foreign trade and investments among the Regions. In 2016, Silvia retired from the Foreign Service, after 25 years in the field, to pursue her passion of helping women succeed in achieving their goals and follow their dreams.
Silvia is an International Law and Arbitration Attorney and holds a Master of Law (LLM) from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Music by stephanie claussen
Stephanie Claussen has been specializing in Early and Renaissance harp music for over fourteen years. After studying harp for eleven years with Twin Cities professional harpist Cathy Victorsen, Stephanie received her Bachelors of Music in performance at the University of Minnesota under the instruction of Kathy Kienzle, principal harpist of the Minnesota Orchestra.
In January 2014 she was awarded a Minnesota Arts Tour Grant to give a five-part concert and teaching series across Minnesota.
Her diverse repertoire encompasses classical, folk, pop, sacred and Early music.
I would like to thank Stephanie Claussen for the wonderful harp concert on Sunday afternoon. What a delight that was for Hillsboro. People are still talking about the beautiful music. —The Hillsboro Banner
