Women's Support Groups
Women dealing with the effects of abuse and trauma are welcomed into a safe setting by trained and experienced female facilitators who understand their experiences, and provide loving support.
Each group meets weekly for nine weeks, and is not open to new members after the first week. Locations include Blaine, Cloquet and Mankato, Minnesota (address given when you register).
Cost for nine-week groups: $75 per person. No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
In a safe and supportive space, participants learn about the complex dynamics of abuse, the freedom and love Jesus wants to give them, Biblical truths about abuse, and ways to heal from the trauma of abuse.
Good boundaries provide the security we need to reach out to others in love.
This group will provide tools and insight on how to have healthier relationships and set limits on relationships that are demanding or unhealthy. Good boundaries help us to be free to be ourselves and to allow others to be themselves also.
Come discover what makes some people relationally safe, and how to avoid unhealthy entanglements.
We will cover material found in:
Safe People: How to Find Relationships That Are Good for You and Avoid Those That Aren’t by Dr Henry Cloud and Dr John Townsend
Pre-registration is required.
Participants are invited into a new level in their spiritual growth and emotional well being in this support group, with the goal of increasing one’s capacity to have an interactive relationship with God. Experiential connection with God is the foundation for deep and lasting spiritual growth, healing from painful experiences and events, relationship with others, and unity in the body of Christ.
This group is by invitation only, and requires participation in Authentic Hope support group and a Boundaries or Safe People support group.
An invitation-only group for women already in our program.
