Rev. Sarah Schuety

Sarah Schuety serves as our Bookkeeper.

A Message from Sarah:

“I desire to use my life for the glory of Jesus, and I find such joy and encouragement in Ephesians 3:20 that says, ‘Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.’ God is such a creative God, and I’m so excited that He intended for me to join the incredible team at Door of Hope. I  have personally benefited from the ministry of Door of Hope, and am honored to support the ongoing work here.”

Sarah lives in Blaine with her husband of 20 years and 5 growing children. She has been a homeschool mom since 2020 and cared for her own mom for five years until her mother passed from dementia in 2024. She serves at her church, Emmanuel Christian Center in Spring Lake Park, alongside her husband, Matt, on the Elder Board, in Marriage Mentoring, and in Connect Groups. She also plays violin on the worship team from time to time. 

Over the years, Sarah has led a moms group at Emmanuel, worked as a bookkeeper and graphic designer, and taught middle school psychology at a co-op while being a homemaker. She holds degrees in Psychology and Communication Art & Design. She is credentialed through the Assemblies of God Minnesota District. 

Sarah and her family enjoy working and learning on the road when they can, especially during long road trips to the National Parks in their Sienna. She finds joy in being creative, researching and implementing functional health, and home/homeschool organizational systems.
